The Officers and Board members of the Wayne County Humane Society have realized that for the Pet Food Pantry to continue to operate, new regulations must be enforced.
Beginning with the June 16, 2013 Pet Food Pantry, all Wayne County residents seeking pet food must have been approved at the Pet Food Pantry Application Clinic. Approvals for receiving pet food will be based on household income. Proof of income such as a pay stub, tax return, or unemployment deposit stub must be shown at the application clinic to participate. The application clinic will be held the first Saturday of every month at the same time and location. If you show up on the Distribution Sunday, and have not attended an application clinic, you will be denied pet food until you attend a clinic to be approved. See WCHS Calendar for dates.
